About Challaborough Bay Holiday Park
Challaborough Bay Holiday Park has pretty much got it all. It is located in a beautiful area, right by a Blue Flag beach on one of Devon’s most stunning coastlines. The weather is clement due to the protection of the bay, and there are great views across to nearby Burgh Island.
As well as the great location, the park itself has quite a bit to offer, especially for families. It’s got an indoor pool complex, a sauna and a gym as well as plenty of activities to the keep the kids busy while you relax. Kid’s clubs include Sid & Lizzie for nursery to ten year olds, and the Freestyle club for up to 15 year olds. With entertainment laid on in the evening as well, there’s always plenty to do without even leaving the park, but with such a stunning coastline to explore it would be a shame to miss out on a dip in the bay’s clean and clear waters.
The park gets an 8.5 rating on Reevoo which coming from over 1,400 reviews is a very good score. And if you like getting out and about there is plenty to see and do in the area. Dartmoor National Park is nearby as is much great countryside to explore. If however you fancy getting away for a bit of grown up entertainment the towns of Plymouth, Paignton, Brixham and Dartmouth are a short drive away. Torquay is also a short drive away if you fancy taking the kids for a proper seaside resort day out, and fancy picking up some pressies for the relatives!
In all, there’s plenty to do onsite, lots in the immediate vicinity, and if you can be bothered to get into your car and leave these beautiful surroundings there’s even more to do within a short drive.
A caravan site that caters for all ages, with playground and indoor pool for my grandchildren and some sensational wildlife nature trail’s to have a stroll around in the afternoon. Direct access to the beach and only short distances to Plymouth and Paignton.
The silver caravan was warm and comfortable and well furnished. No problem at with this accommodation. Great value for money as well.
