About White Acres Holiday Park
White Acres Holiday Park is set in over 180 acres of beautiful Cornish Country side, yet it is only a few miles from Newquay and some spectacular beaches. The park has won a GOLD David Bellamy Award for its conservation work.
This holiday park has something for every member of the family, especially if one of you fishes. The White Acres Holiday Park has 13 well stocked fishing lakes with Carp, Catfish, Perch, Roach, Tench, Rudd and Bream. There are 300 pegs (that’s where you sit to fish!) so plenty of space to find a quiet spot. The friendly fisheries staff are always on hand and will even give lessons to the inexperienced. The park runs weekly competitions with the best 24 throughout the season getting automatic entry into the Parkdean Masters final with a top prize of £25,000.
Don’t worry if you don’t fish, there are plenty of other activities on offer in the park, but keeping with the water theme for a moment, the White Acres Holiday Park has an indoor heated swimming pool with an inflatable obstacle course. There is a paddling pool for the younger ones, a spa and sauna for the older ones! You can even book Scuba Diving lesions.
On dry land, you can enjoy the Galleon adventure playground, mini ten-pin bowling, crazy golf or Laser combat. If that’s not enough, the park even has a gym. Or just take a wonder round the lakes on the nature trail.
However you spend your day, relax as a family at the Polkerris Bar, Pizzeria and Grill and have a meal together before getting ready to go to the Lakeside Club were you will be kept entertained with competitions, games shows, visiting bands and cabaret acts as well as the park’s own AllStars Entertainers.
Nice big campsite and a nice place to go if you’re an outdoorsy person, plenty of fishing lakes to retreat to if you enjoy that type of sports. Plenty of nature trails to take a walk round as well.
Camp site could do with a lick of paint in places, entertainment was ok. Fish and chip shop was nice. Nice time away and enjoyed although updating should be considered in areas.
