About Winchelsea Sands Holiday Park
Winchelsea Sands Holiday Park is situated between the historic towns of Rye and Hastings; a large park with a range of facilities that make it a popular choice for families and individuals who just love this area. There are several different grades of caravan to choose from here; one of the main differences being in width. Standard vans tend to be about 10ft wide but some of the higher grades on offer increase to a width of 12ft. Added extras like bed-linen tend to be thrown in as you spend a little more, but you don’t usually have to pay more for gas, electric or heating.
A nice feature is the massive outdoor pool at Winchelsea Sands, which is the perfect place for a quick dip or for hours of splashing about and a pleasant sun terrace on which to relax. You can send the 5-14s off to the Loopy Kid’s Club where they will be kept busy with games and activities and get a chance to make new pals.
There is a rather nice beach at nearby Winchelsea that is easily accessible and the town is a quaint little chocolate box of charm. There’s a lot of little eateries around particularly in nearby Rye. But you can always opt to eat at the park as there is plenty of choice for snacks or something more substantial. There is no doubt that this is a gorgeous part of the country and for the view of the glorious Sussex downs alone, this park has got to be worth a look.
