About Seawick Holiday Park
St Osyth, or ‘Toosy’ as it’s know locally is a small village about 5 miles from Clacton. So, Seawick is a holiday park ideally located for those who want a quiet getaway with the opportunity to get in the car, or take a long walk if you fancy the bright lights for a bit of a change.
If you’re taking the family the park has all the activities that you’d expect including kid’s clubs. They advertise themselves as an ‘Active and fun’ park, which includes a heated outdoor pool (in season). The beach is just a short walk away, and is Blue Flag, which is always a bonus as its great to take a dip knowing that the area is clean.
As with much of Essex, there isn’t a great deal to see locally so, if you’re in the mood for visiting attractions you’ll need to take your guide book (or your iPad, there’s free WiFi), and a full tank of petrol. It’s a good choice of location for a quiet holiday with the option for a meal and evening entertainment, after a relaxing day on the beach. If you want to make your holiday a bit lazier, you can take advantage of their half board deals, and really have a proper break from life’s chores.

Upon on arrival the campsite looked well maintained and cared for, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The caravan was also well maintained and spacious. The beds were clean and tidy and the accomodation even had central heating.
Facilities are ok and the onsite restaurant has much to be improved. Entertainment was ok as well. We were out and about all day, so really used the caravan as a base, which suited our needs. Plenty of places to go visit and St Osyth Beach is only a short drive away.
We enjoyed our selves!
