About Swanage Coastal Park
Swanage Coastal Park is a 15 acre self-catering holiday park offering stunning views across the local area as it is nestled on a hill above the town of Swanage. A holiday here is either about sitting around reading a book, or getting out and about, as there are no facilities on site.
There is a park next door with facilities that you can use for a small charge, these include Health and Fitness Club, pool and bar. The selling point of the park however its location, right at the start of the marvellous Jurassic Coast, and a great base from which to explore a stunning part of the south of England.
The town of Swanage is only ten minutes walk away, but there is plenty more to see and do in the area. There are plenty of stunning and secluded beaches a short drive away along Dorset’s famed coastline. There are also numerous attractions close by including Weymouth’s Sea life Centre and Monkey World, so there’s plenty to keep the kids busy.
As noted, this park is more of a base than a holiday park, so you will need to make your own entertainment or get in the car if you want a traditional seaside holiday. For those taking children the lack of facilities may be a bit of a disappointment, but for others, peace and quiet is the order of the day at this beautifully located park.

Upon arrival the caravan site appeared clean, tidy and well maintained. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and ensured a speedy checkin process. Which after a long drive was most welcomed. Accommodation to a high spec which catered for our duration adequately. The views were lovely and so relaxing.
