Caravans don’t come with hot tubs, which is a shame, as they are in vogue lately and it is without doubt a real bonus to have one on holiday. Hoseasons however have a wide range of holiday locations across the country with lodges that have their own hot tubs.
The accommodation offered is not in the standard holiday parks, but in the lodge locations. Lodge holidays do tend to be a bit more expensive, and an altogether different experience. They are more aimed at the ‘romantic getaway’, as opposed to the candy floss and redcoat experience of the large holiday parks.
Whilst these holidays may certainly be suitable for taking the children, if it’s a hot tub you’re after, the compromise will most likely be that there will be no kid’s clubs to keep them busy for a couple of hours while you chill out, and there probably won’t be a pool with a variety of water activities and a flume and lazy river.
The locations of the breaks also tend to be more rural as opposed to coastal, so if the beach is your thing, you may have to do some driving to get to the dunes. So again, it’s a different type of break, and if you are taking the kids, you may just have to do a bit of planning when it comes to keeping them amused as there most likely won’t be a load of child friendly activities on site. So, you’ll need to get searching for what is going on in the area.
Hoseasons have got 454 accommodations available at 112 sites within the UK, all with hot tubs. Their website has probably the best holiday filter system I’ve seen (and I’m on these sites all the time!). To find a holiday lodge with a hot tub simply:
1) Go to the website, and click on the ‘Holiday Parks’ link (top left).
2) On the top left of the screen in the ‘Quick Search’ box select you region
3) When the results appear, on the left below the ‘Quick Search’ you will see ‘Refine your results’
4) Scroll down the list until you see ‘Private Hot Tub’.
5) Click ‘Private Hot Tub’, and you will see all holiday lodge locations in your chosen area with hot tubs.
6) And, you’re away, just look down the list in the centre of your page and you can click through to the details and prices for each lodge park.
