Why Buy A Static Caravan In Scotland?

Visitors to Scotland are often mesmerised by its striking landscapes and stark, unadorned beauty. It’s certainly mysterious and some would even say a place with an imposing and resolute air. From its stirring history, to the rich and vibrant culture within the many festivals and events which pulse through its streets, there is a constant and celebratory rhythm. One could easily feel inspired to buy a holiday home here and there are some lovely static caravan parks to consider in this land of the brave.

When you enter the Scottish capital, you you can’t fail to notice the splendour of the architecture and sheer scale of its many landmarks, but you may also be struck by the distinctive aroma of the stone that is the fabric of so many of Edinburgh’s buildings. Upon reaching the heart of the city if you look east, remarkably, you will see a large hill keeping a watchful eye over everything. It’s the stuff of legends and is actually an extinct volcano that’s millions of years old called King Arthur’s Seat. A mile away stands Edinburgh Castle, mounted on a magnificent and ancient rocky outlook and is a breath-taking sight to behold. It’s easy to see why people come from all over the world to explore this city in all it’s historic glory.

As you head out of the cities, the vast expanse of wildlife, mountains and glens are endless. A few miles east of Edinburgh you will find a great holiday park with acres of unspoilt beaches and the feeling of blissful seclusion – Seton Sands Holiday Village, Longniddry.

On the opposite coast within easy reach of Glasgow Prestwick airport is Craig Tara Park, Ayr. It’s a privately owned park with static caravans to rent as well as buy. Please check with the park for details. Advantageous facilities here including golf course, go karts, a swimming pool with water slides and nightly entertainment.

However, if you have yearning for somewhere more remote, how about buying a caravan near the Cairngorms? Tummel Valley Park, Pitlochry has all the modern facilities on hand, yet it’s in the heart of the Tey Forrest and is surrounded by countryside for miles.
