Ok so the best of the summer sun might be gone, not that we had much anyway but there are still a million reasons to enjoy an Autumn holiday so we thought we’d give you a few!

The summer months may be the most popular for people holidaying but sometimes going against the crowd can be a good thing, and what’s more the weather across the UK, while a little inclement is also offering unseasonably high temperatures so there’s a bit of late summer sun to be had too! Here are some things we think you should consider about taking an Autumn break this year!

Good for the budget

The biggest reason has to be the price! If you’re not stuck working around school holidays then taking a holiday during term time is the best way to get some bargains, there’s no worry about premium holiday prices and actually British holidays get very cheap out of season!

Miss the crowds

The beaches, towns and villages have been packed all summer long, but now everything is returning to its peaceful state, allowing you to enjoy many holiday resorts without having to fight through the crowd.

The weather’s not bad

Ok, so it’s not high summer, but when is? And at least during the Autumn months you can still enjoy a bit of late sun if you’re lucky, but at least you’ll be expecting any weather that you do get!

Autumn Colours

Chose an idyllic countryside setting such as Wareham Forest in Dorset, or the Lake District and you’ll be blown away by the reds, golds and greens of the Autumn season for the prettiest break ever.

Beautiful Sunsets

You might get some lovely summer sunsets but not much beats the low sun in the late Autumn offering some of the most beautiful, scenic sunsets you can imagine!

See, so it might be a bit fresher, and the nights might be closing in but you don’t need to worry as there are still plenty of reasons to take an Autumn break, and enjoy it too!
