About Sandy Meadows Lodge Park
Sandy Meadows Lodge Park has the best of both worlds as it has the tranquility of a ‘facility lite’ park with the opportunity of using the facilities of sister park Sandy Glade just around the corner. This means you get to use the heated indoor pool before retreating to your own personal hot-tub while watching the sun go down in peace.
Not all of the 40 lodges have hot-tubs but they do have private balconies, most sleeping 4 people, with luxury lodges sleeping up to 6 or 8 people. The park is slightly more up-market than its sister park which is reflected in the prices which are not over the top, and subsequently they do get booked up early in the year.
The park can be used as a base for exploring much of Somerset including attractions such as Wookey Hole, or the Cheddar Gorge, or simply enjoying the free natural beauty of the countryside and the coastline. And, don’t forget the beach is just a stone’s throw away.
You can either make your own entertainment or head off to the sister park to make use of their facilities and activities. So you can mix a fun filled family holiday with a bit of peace and quiet. If you want full relaxation drop the kids off at the nearby Kid’s Club and go for relaxing swim and sauna before retreating to your quiet luxury lodge or a stroll along the beach as the sun drifts gently down.
This is not a budget option holiday, but the luxury, peace and quiet may be worth that few extra quid. Overall, a quiet luxury retreat with nearby facilities.
