Relax and enjoy a tranquil setting on the Northumbrian coast at the picturesque Cresswell Towers Holiday Park. Set in charming woodlands with the glorious sandy beach of Druridge Bay just 200m away, it’s a fantastic location for a holiday. Cresswell Towers offers a larger range of accommodation than some other parks and their 2 or 3 bedroom caravan holiday homes come kitted out with TV, kitchen facilities including a microwave, and what’s more gas and electricity and bed-linen are fully inclusive in the cost.
Children can join in with specially organised activities in either the under 5’s or 5-11’s club. Family swimming can be enjoyed in the indoor heated pool where a Water Resorts program is available to add to the enjoyment of splashing around. The sports court is also a lively place for fun where they can make new pals and blow off steam and you can join in too.
There’s lot to do and see around the local area and you can even book yourself a spot of sea-fishing or grab a round of golf at nearby Longhurst if you fancy it. Coastal paths high above the sweeping beaches and vast sandy dunes can be enjoyed for a spectacular 7 miles in an area that is a firm family favourite.
The market town of Morepth is just 20 mins drive from the park and visitors can enjoy fresh produce from the farmers market or get a sense of the abundant local history at the 13th Century Morpeth Chantry. Northumberland is a treasure trove of history and stunning natural beauty and if you stay at Cresswell Towers you will be very well placed to make the most of discovering it.
Plenty for children of all ages to do. There’s a children’s park and tennis courts as well. The site is small and the staff friendly and are always happy to help out when needed. The entertainment was good for the kids as well.
Stayed in silver plus caravan which was spacious and clean and had everything needed for a good holiday. The beach was close by and had a lovely view.
