The Met Office has released its 30 day weather forecast covering the Easter weather and it seems that if you’re hoping for a fine Easter break, you better be hoping you’ve booked for the South or the East of the UK. A mainly changeable forecast is offered, with all the sunshine hitting the South of the country.
Of course changeable also means ‘we’re not quite sure what it’s doing yet’ and there have been many a fine week when rain was forecast.
The Met Office is predicting westerly winds and some prolonged spells of wet weather affecting much of the UK, but they offset this by saying that there will be some fine period across all parts. Sounds like a typical British caravan holiday to us, so not much will be different for the first break of the year.
What we are hearing is that your best chance of longest spells of dry bright weather will be in the South or South East of the UK, so if you’ve already booked a break to the area, you can look smug now.
Anyone who has been outside in the last two weeks can’t fail to have notice the changes in temperature, one day it feels like spring, the next like winter and this is set to continue still, and there is even still the chance of local ground frosts.
It is the first break of the year, and for holidaymakers Easter is coming a little earlier than usual. Thankfully with brilliant facilities across all our featured caravan parks, and so much investment in the industry in the last couple of years, it’s never been easier to make your own fun, whatever the weather.
