Oh dear, we’ve left it a bit late haven’t we! Never mind, there are always last minute bookings available for caravan holidays and often at great prices, so we thought we’d have a look to see what bargains could be had over the coming weeks.
The bargain breaks listed below are from the holiday park company Park Resorts. It’s just a sample, there are lots more on offer if you click through to the sites, and please note they won’t be around for long!
Park Resorts have got among other last minute deals 2 nights breaks starting from £103 for the weekend of Saturday 25th of July. A great saving of £254, it’s for a Bronze caravan at Cresswell Towers in the North East. Sleeping four, the caravan has two bedrooms which consist a double and a twin. Cresswell Towers is located on the coast in Northumberland just 200 metres from the beach, and has a Water Resorts programme, plus other facilities to keep both the kids and adults busy for the weekend. There’s plenty to do in the local area, but for many visitors the main attraction in the area is the miles and miles of unspoilt coastline which are great for simply sitting back and enjoying, plus for hardier types the countryside is a ramblers paradise. Further up north in Eyemouth, Scotland you can grab a Bronze Caravan for the same weekend for £117. That’s a saving of £247 for last minute bargain grabbers! The two bedroom caravan again sleeps 4, and has a double and a twin. Eyemouth is on the Berwick coastline just set on the edge of a quaint fishing port. The beach is within walking distance and it is one of Scotland’s few coastal holiday parks as most are inland around the Lochs. So, it’s a great place to enjoy Scotland’s pristine natural beauty, but with access to a beach, and free use of local indoor pool. More info.
