About Trearddur Holiday Bungalows
Trearddur Holiday Bungalows is in a great location, plus although it has some of the facilities you would expect from a holiday park it is not a full redcoat experience. A small holiday park, it nestles in tranquil Trearddur Bay, and provides easy access to a designated ’Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’.
The park has an indoor heated pool, tennis courts and a bar (evenings only). But, this park is all about getting out and discovering the fantastic coastline and more. Day trips are available to Dublin from Holyhead, but there is plenty to see and do without having to board a ferry.
Many of the beaches in the area have expanses of golden sand, with great water quality, and some with rock pools which is a great diversion for the kids. Anglesey is a rocky island, which means there are fantastic views to be had and many opportunities for long walks, which can be supplemented with a bit of bird watching.
An incredibly beautiful and mainly unspoilt area with plenty to do for lovers of the outdoors who are happy making their own entertainment.
There are several nature reserves on the island some of which can be explored on foot, others being a great excuse to hire a canoe. For the more adventurous, outdoor pursuits are offered at Anglesey Adventures, Holyhead, which include raft building rock climbing, coasteering, gorge scrambling, abseiling, mountain scrambling, sea-level-traversing, kayaking, and canoeing.
The location of the site is amazing, rugged coastlines with plenty of walks, plenty of wildlife, however the accomodation is pretty standard and basic. You get what you pay for, we thouroughly enjoyed our stay but we were out and about enjoying the surroundings and not stuck inside.
Hi Happy, yes you do get what you pay for, glad you made the most of it and got out and about, the best things in life are free!
