About Camarthen Bay Holiday Park
Set beside the sands of Gwendraeth Estuary, affording beautiful views is the Carmarthen Bay Holiday Park, the perfect recipe for family fun. Around the park there’s plenty to do, including a pool complex with flume, amusements, adventure playground and children’s clubs, and as it’s right on the estuary sands, there’s plenty of exploring to do too.
There’s both static caravans and chalets to choose from at Carmarthen Bay Holiday Park and with several grades of accommodation to choose from you can select what’s best for you and your family. Whatever you choose you can expect all the facilities you might need for a self-catering holiday and you can even bring your dog along.
The park is right on the edge of Pembrey Country Park, so there’s plenty to explore in the area, and Kidwelly itself is a bustling small town with a well-preserved Norman Castle to explore. Swansea Bay and all the delights of the Gower peninsula are also right on your doorstep here, allowing you to visit a different beach every day for a week if so takes your fancy, in what is a truly beautiful part of the world.
Booked a 4 night stay with my husband and 8 year old daughter. We had a caravan that looked out across the bay which was stunning and the sunsets were out of this world. The lodge was a fair walk from the main reception however the views and scenery absolutely made up for the walk. The lodge was fitted with all the necessities including a washing machine and central heating.
The hot tub was the high light of this short stay and perfectly positioned looking over the bay! Bliss. We would most definitely return for another stay. Staff were friendly and helpful as well.
A hot tub makes all the difference! And, yes, what at first would appear to be an inconvenient walk makes your break even better if the scenery is good! Getting off the sofa and going for a wander is so underrated! Thanks for the comment Karen
