About Combe Martin Beach Holiday Park
Combe Martin Beach Holiday Park may not be for everyone, but for some it’s an ideal getaway as it is located on a peaceful and beautiful part of the Devon coast. Why not everyone? Well, it’s main selling point is it’s natural facets, and while there is a bit of entertainment this is miles away from a redcoat holiday break.
Nestled in a valley with stunning views there’s a path leading to a woodland walk at one end of the park, and at the other a route to Newberry Beach. The park has a great view over the North Devon afforded by its hilly aspect which unfortunately means that it may be unsuitable for guests with mobility requirements.
A short walk will also take you to the sleepy traditional coastal village of Combe Martin with charming little pubs and tea rooms, plus the old seaside favourite, fish and chips. Onsite there is an outdoor heated pool, which is open during the peak season, but if you really want a splash about and the sea doesn’t tickle your fancy you can use the indoor pool at the nearby sister park Sandaway.
There are plenty of nearby attractions including Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park which is just up the hill, and guaranteed fun for the kids. Nearby Woolacombe Beach has won both the blue flag and Premier Seaside Beach awards and is three miles of golden sand. Plus, the park’s coastal location means many of Devon’s best beaches are a short drive away. A great base for exploring a beautiful region.

Unless you got an electric scooter this probably isn’t a site for everyone. However, we enjoyed our stay and it is a little hilly we didn’t find it a problem. The park is small, and the staff were helpful and the accommodation was of a satisfactory standard.
The clubhouse could do with a bit of updating but we didn’t come to be sat in the clubhouse alday and night.
