About Presthaven Beach Resort, Gronant
Presthaven is located on a long stretch of sandy coast, just around the corner from the resort of Rhyl. The park takes advantage of the the expansive nearby shoreline, but, as it’s North Wales where the rain keeps the hills verdant there is plenty going on indoors to keep a family busy.
There are two pools onsite, one indoor, and one outdoor which is open from May until August. The heated indoor pool at Presthaven has a slide and is geared up to building up children’s water confidence.
The park is practically on the long sandy beach. The Irish Sea may be a bit ‘nippy’, but there are plenty of sand dunes to explore if you’re not feeling brave enough for a dip.
There are plenty of activities to get the blood pumping, including a an ariel walkway with safety harness to increase height confidence in both adults and young adults. And there’s also the opportunity to show off on a climbing wall! Archery and fencing are available for both kids and adults, return home with a new family passion!
Off-site there is plenty to explore whether you’re after some scenic grandeur or a something a bit more cultural. Horse-riding and paint-balling are available nearby for adults, and there’s the traditional seaside resort of Rhyl if you fancy letting loose a little.
Several types of caravans are available including adapted caravans and the park has a team of Special Needs Advisors. All are available at varying levels of luxury. Overall, plenty of facilities and activities superbly located in a stunning part of Wales.
