About Sandhills Holiday Park
Sandhills is not your average holiday park. It’s more like a hotel with an overspill of caravans to make up for the lack of rooms. There are great views across the channel, and the beach is just a stone’s throw away. There is an outdoor pool, otherwise, activities and facilities are slim, no redcoats here! But, the selling point about the park is the location, right on the beach, and within easy reach of local attractions, other beaches, and the towns of Weymouth and Bournemouth.
Sandhills holiday park has several grades of accommodation, ranging from the standard ‘Bronze’ caravans, to Gold Plus’ apartments (within the hotel) and lodges which have their own decking area. The site is pet friendly, although some of the accommodation is not.
Entertainment at the park is also slim, but there is plenty going on nearby if you fancy an evening out. In all this is a not a holiday park in the traditional sense, as it relies on what is going on in the area, and although there is food on-site, the park is more of a base for exploring the local area, and making your own fun as there are no kids clubs. A good location for a family holiday, and perhaps a welcome change to the noise of your usual holiday camp.

This caravan site is situated practically on the beach, we had stunning views from our apartment which looked right out across the sea. Bloody lovely. The apartment had a balcony and was a decent size, that was well equipped to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
The outdoor pool area kept the kids entertained and they had a great time. The staff were friendly and a great help and checkin was fast and stress free. Phew! Definitely come back again.
