About St Osyth Beach Holiday Park
Just down the road from it’s sister park Seawick, St Osyth beach park has the advantage of a large indoor pool complex complete with a flume and kiddies paddling area. The park is right on the seafront, so the beach is a stone’s throw away, and it stretches all the way to Clacton if you are up for a long healthy walk.
If you like a bit of fishing there’s a small lake for a bit of coarse fishing, and of course as you are right on the beach there are plenty of local opportunities for beach casting. If you don’t manage to catch your supper, there is a restaurant on-site, and the park has flexi eating deals, so that’s less time tied to the sink and the cooker on your holiday.
The nearest Blue Flag beach is 3 miles away, however, there are plenty of beaches to choose from along Essex’s Sunshine Coast as long as you don’t mind a short drive, or, even better a long invigorating walk. The park has several grades of accommodation, although if you are taking pets you won’t be able to rent some of the premium caravans. Overall, a good choice for a quiet seaside holiday with nearby Clacton on standby if you fancy a bit of Victorian seaside clamour.

Decided to go and stay our a friends caravan which was superb, lovely and well maintained. So unable to make a comment regarding the site’s own accommodation. The clubhouse could do with a freshen up in my opinion and there was a rather intense smell of urine in the toilets. Perhaps toilet checks could be utilised to overcome this issue. The onsite restaurant is not all that either.
Loved the walk to the beach and had many a fun time there, crabbing in the rocks with the kids, spent the day at Colchester Zoo as well as the shopping village.
