About Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park
Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park is over at the most easterly point of the Island and enjoys direct access to a sweeping sand and shingle beach, where the waters are clean and safe swimming is assured. This park offers a selection of modern 2 or 3 bedroom caravans and 2 bedroom chalets. Most are kitted out with flat screen TV’s and the kitchens includes a microwave. An added bonus here is that gas and electricity are included with all accomodation as well as bed linen, which you often have to hire in other places.
Holiday Parks have changed considerably over the years and while it’s nice to enjoy the mod cons most of them now have, it’s good to find a place where you can still indulge in a few evergreen traditions. At Whitecliff Bay, as well as providing you with an all-weather heated indoor pool kitted out with a flume, where you can snorkel and bound about on Water Walkerz and a spa and sauna to boot, there’s also a ‘back to nature’ approach to things. So if your kids have never sat around a real camp fire singing songs and telling stories, or never huddled up wrapped in blankets to watch a movie under the stars, they can do so here.
The village of Bembridge is close to the park and you might like to hire bikes so you can explore it. It’s quite an upmarket area and although modest in size, you can get most everyday goods you may need and it has some charming little shops and a very pleasant harbour. All in all this is a pretty place for a sweet island stay!
