Woodside Coastal Retreat is a luxurious getaway for families and couples situated in an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. It has its own private shingle beach and not much else other than seclusion, and the beauty of nature. It could serve as a real break from it all, or you could make use of the facilities at it’s sister site which is next door.
This could be a great treat for that someone special, pamper packs are available for couples, although could simply bring your own! What you can’t bring though is a hot tub, 5 of the lodges have private ones, and it’s the icing on the cake of a romantic break. Lodges are self-catering, but if you get tired of cooking, Kellermans restaurant and bar is next door. Grab a meal then wander back to your own starlit hot tub.
If you feel like getting out and about bicycle is a good way to explore the cyclist friendly island, and for the brave you could explore the waters with your own canoe. This may not be the perfect break for all as there is no entertainment, but for others that makes it even better. An exclusive resort, without an outrageous price tag.
