There’s still some great special offers for the May Half Term weekend from Park Resorts. They have lots on offer at discounted rates, but the biggest reductions are going fast. Their current best offers are for the Isle of Wight, although they have loads of cheap breaks across the country.
The weather forecast for the next few weeks looks very promising across the UK (touch wood), so if you are planning on getting away, it needn’t be down south, check out their offer which stretch all the way from the Isle of White to Scotland.

Thorness Bay on the Isle of White has a 2 bedroom caravan deal for 3 nights from the 23rd of May for £169, which is roughly a 40% reduction. You will need to get a ferry over to the resort, but, that makes it even more fun, especially if you are taking kids with you (and you can book it through Park Resorts). The beach is just a stroll from the park which is located in fields overlooking the sea. The park has good facilities, including indoor fun pool with slide, adventure playground, and all-weather multi-sports court. But, with such beautiful surroundings you may just simply want to head off to the beach.
At Whitley Bay Holiday Park you can get a Bronze Caravan for the weekend, 3 bedroom sleeping 8 for only £177, which is a saving of £76. Or you could upgrade to a Silver Caravan for an extra £9. The resort of Whitley Bay is one of the gems of the North, with a golden sand Blue Flag award-winning beach, and a good old fashioned bingo hall and entertainment venue in the Spanish City complex. The park has an indoor swimming pool and outdoor play area as well as evening entertainment and a restaurant.
