South West Tourism Awards 2014/15

The gates are now open for holiday parks across the South West of England to put themselves forward for the prestigious Holiday Park award. Park operators have until the 29th June to put their parks forward for consideration.

The awards cover a variety of businesses within the tourist industry, but this is one not to be missed, as it is the ‘official one’. This year entries for Devon and Cornwall are accepted to the Holiday Park category along with the counties of Somerset, Wiltshire, Bath, Bristol and Gloucestershire.

With staycations on the increase, holiday park operators are doing what they can to make themselves stand out above their competitors. Many of them are improving and adding facilities, as well as making sure that there are enough onsite activities to keep their customers happy.

Many parks have now become ‘active parks’ where there is a focus on getting holiday makers away from their screens, and into the pool and onto the sports courts. Maybe we’re going to be seeing a fitter Britain! But, the icing on the cake is an industry respected award if you want to make your park stand out from the crowd.
