Haven have a very good reputation, not that you’d call them ‘reassuringly expensive’, but their parks do generally get good reports, so there’s no need for them to drop their prices, but, they do!
If you want to grab a last minute bargain you can get great deals with savings up to 40% on some breaks. And, as they’ve got a wide variety of parks with late offers you may not need to travel as far as you think.
Last minute offers can be a pain, unless you are prepared and are actually looking out for them. You may have to pack unexpectedly, and make sure the car is road ready for a long trip, and get someone to feed the cat at short notice.
But, nothing beats the sheer joy of getting home and saying to the family “Guess where we’re going tomorrow?”. Chaos it may be, but a good kind of chaos. You can grab a break at Perran Sands in Cornwall for £357.00 per family in a ‘supertent’ which sleeps 6, that’s 40% off. A supertent is basically a very large tent with facilities, and of course you also get to use the park facilities. More info.
Combe Haven in Hastings is giving away 23% for a 2 bedroom caravan break bringing the price down to £435.10, and it sleeps up to six people. The park has a heated indoor and outdoor pool, as well as loads of other facilities. More info.
Riviere Sands in Cornwall has 10% off for a weekend break for up to 8 people in a deluxe 3 bedroom caravan, bringing the price down to £639.00. There is an indoor and an outdoor pool, although the big attraction of the park is the superb beach and local area. More info.
