The holiday season is slowly drawing to a close, which signals price cuts on getaways over the next few weeks. For some people this is the right time to get away, as although the weather will be unlikely to get any better, the holiday parks will be quieting down so it’s an ideal time to get some peace and quiet and a stroll along the beach.
We’ve decided to feature the North East today, as September may be the last month you would want to stay in the area for a beach holiday due to the coast’s exposure to the North Sea. The area is stunning, and there are a good selection of Park Resorts coastal parks in the area which we have listed below. Please note that prices may change, so don’t leave it too late!
Sandy Bay in North Seaton has great cliff top views, and as the name suggests a long sandy beach within direct access of the park. If it’s getting a bit parky outside there’s a heated indoor pool, bar and restaurant. 4 nights in a 2 bedroom caravan sleeping 6 will currently cost £168 for a 4 night break starting September the 1st. More info.
Crimdon Dene is located on Durham’s stunning Heritage coastline, and is right by a huge stretch of sand dunes. If the weather is good there’s plenty to do, and if its not, again their is heated indoor pool. 4 nights in a 3 bedroom caravan sleeping 8 will currently cost £146 for a 4 night break starting September the 1st. More info.
Whitley Bay Holiday Park sits alongside miles and miles of sandy beaches. The resort has had it’s own entertainment complex for many years, although the holiday park itself also has a program of entertainment. So it’s up to you if you want to spend your nights on or off site. 4 nights in a 3 bedroom caravan sleeping 8 will currently cost £129 for a 4 night break starting September the 8th. More info.
There are plenty more September deals on offer, and a few for August, but they won’t be there for long!
