Apparently we’re having an Indian Summer! Although advance weather forecasts should always be taken with a pinch of salt, reports of an extended summer may not be exaggerated, as this week’s weather is what you’d be expecting from the middle of August, not well into September.
So, with it looking like a summer extension it’s good to see that caravan holiday park operators are still keeping their prices low for the autumn ‘downturn’. Obviously for families there is the issue of not taking the kids out in term time, but for those without children it’s time to grab a midweek bargain break.
With prices from as low as £69 you just have to ask yourself where you could get a cheaper break for two days even, and the only real answer is camping. But for a four night break, these prices can’t be beaten!
The offers below are just a selection from many great deals available in Kent, but many more cut price holidays in other regions can be found here.
Harts in Kent are offering a four night break in a 2 bedroom 6 berth caravan from only £69 for the week commencing September 15th. They do have a whole range of accommodation available for this period and the coming weeks with varying prices for upgrades, but we’re only talking a few quid more. If you are planning on taking pets there are ‘pet welcome’ caravans available. The holiday park itself is located on Sheppey Island in the seaside resort of Leysdown, a laid back location with miles of beach, and, very low rainfall. More info.
New Beach in Dymchurch has four night breaks that start from £80 break in a 2 bedroom 6 berth caravan commencing September 15th. The beach is just over the road, but if it’s raining, no worries, there’s a heated indoor pool, and there are plenty of places to visit in the area. More info.
These are just a couple of the offers available at Kent Park Resorts holiday parks, there are more in Kent and across the rest of the south of England, for more options just click here, and enjoy your Indian Summer holiday!
