Most of us associate British holidays with caravans, caravans are associated with the seaside and the seaside is associated with summer, but actually British holidays have so much more to offer than that, especially if you look at some of the more alternative forms of accommodation. Although not all Hoseasons parks offer lodges, the ones that do are spread around the country so you have plenty of choice, and many of the parks that offer lodges, also offer a long season, allowing you to enjoy the countryside without the big crowds too.
All lodges come with different features and it’s best to check what yours has when you book, but you can expect features like an enclosed veranda, hot tub and even WiFi access at some parks. None of the standard features are lost, this is traditional self catering accommodation but a bit plusher and a bit of rustic enjoyment for a week. As many of the lodge parks are rural they are perfect for those wanting to enjoy walking and take in a bit of nature.
