Preparations For Caravan Camping And Motorhome Show Underway

The biggest bit of nationwide publicity the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show has had so far is the news that Ray Mears will not be appearing after his tirade on the lifestyle on the BBC show Room 101. However, those in the know will already be aware of the sister show to the main Camping and Caravan Show, taking place in the NEC this month.

Whether you’re already a weathered camper, or you’re just getting a bit of interest in this kind of holiday, the show caters to you. There’s everything from the latest innovations to make your life easier, to the latest concepts in caravans and camping ideas.

The Caravan Camping and Motorhome Show takes place in the NEC near Birmingham from 17th to 22nd February and tickets are still available for those who would like to go along.

In addition to the displays there’ll be guest speakers (not Ray Mears) and various demonstrations and displays. If you’re the kind of camper who likes to find out about the best campsites and keep up with all the mod-cons to make camping easier then this show is likely to be a brilliant weekend in itself!

The main Camping and Caravan Show takes place on the other end of the season, in October, but we think a show to start the season is definitely the way to go. I own a campervan myself and right now I can think of little more than sunshiney days and nights under the stars. Myself and many other campers are spending this time organising gear, checking if anything needs replacing and general getting a silly amount of excited about the upcoming holiday season.

If you’re also eager to get the camping season of 2015 well and truly started then the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show might be the perfect place for you this month!
