The Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show has just come to an end at the N.E.C and has by all accounts been a roaring success with an estimated 80,000 visitors through the doors! With camping and caravanning so en vogue right now visitor number were expected to be up on previous years and they certainly were too!

The show had a fair few celebrity visitors too including Ben Fogle and presenter Matt Baker who opened the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show 2015. The 6 day event has been a huge success with the visitors enjoying the presentations, new innovative camping gear, and finding out about everything to make camping and caravanning easier and as much fun as possible!

The show is the baby sister to the Camping and Caravan show held in October, but the need for two shows a year shows just how popular this kind of holiday has become. Adventures are good for you, and they were pretty much the words that Ben Fogle opened the show with, after all what greater adventure than going off like a snail with your home on your back and enjoying the outdoors?

In addition to all those visitors there were 350 exhibitors at the show, bringing caravanners all the latest industry secrets and developments and no matter what your method of taking a touring holiday of some kind, there was something for everyone. The latest in tents, camping equipment and labour saving innovations, brand new caravans in all sizes, glamping pods and motorhomes, this year’s Caravan, Camping and Motorhome show had it all!

Now the season is about to start of course, making it the perfect time for a show. Now campers have time to add to their supplies, make changes inspired by the show and implement some of the advice given at the show before the holiday season begins proper!

Parks around the UK are announcing record bookings yet again so it seems the desire to enjoy British holidays is still on the increase and with news about investment in the industry and plenty of innovation, Britain is well and truly cool again! If you did miss the show and you wish you hadn’t, the main Camping and Caravan Show takes place in October and tickets for that are already on sale.
