With summer fast approaching and some very much warmer weather on the horizon you may now be thinking keenly about your upcoming summer break. If you’re super organised you may already be booked up, but if not then knowing what beaches were voted the top ten UK beaches this year might help you make your decision!
It was back in February when Trip Advisor allowed users to vote on what they thought were the best beaches, both UK and worldwide and published the results soon after. However now with the summer coming, we thought people might like a nice reminder of the best UK beaches for planning the summer holiday.
We’re sure you can’t wait to hear them so without further ado here are the top 10 UK beaches, as voted by Trip Advisor users:
- Woolacombe Beach – Devon
- Weymouth Beach – Dorset
- Rhossili Bay – Swansea
- St. Brelade’s Bay – Jersey
- Porthminster Beach – Cornwall
- Perranporth Beach – Cornwall
- Fistral Beach – Cornwall
- Luskentyre Beach – Isle of Harris
- Hengistbury Head – Dorset
- Sandbanks –Dorset
Both Cornwall and Dorset got three beaches on the list and there are others dotted around the UK too. Some like Weymouth and Fistral are famous beaches and it’s little wonder they made the list but some lesser known little treasures also sneaked in there too!
With these announced as the best UK beaches you can bet your bottom dollar they’ll all see an increase in visitors this year and if your haven’t yet got your beach holiday planned, you now have ten great choices and some great summer deals on UK holidays from a selection of parks around the UK too.
