We keep hearing how caravan and motorhome sales are through the roof and just a few weeks ago we brought you the news that Wayne and Colleen Rooney have bought a luxury holiday caravan in North Wales. Now Heather Mills has spoken up to say she enjoys campervan holidays with her daughter, Beatrice as it becomes clear that caravanning is hot property!
It’s only a few weeks since the Rooney’s confirmed that they love holidaying in Prestatyn, as do many of us! The staycation is en vogue and caravan trends are off the scale, and this latest news is only going to add to that!
Rather than be stuck in a single caravan, Heather Mills owns a motorhome and that allows her to go further afield. She and her daughter Beatrice like to just hop in the van and head off, and have ventured further than just the UK too, heading to Croatia and Italy!
That’s the magic of a motorhome, you can enjoy staycations, or do longer more adventurous breaks. In fact you’re just like a snail and with your home on your back the world really is your oyster. The VW obsession over the last few years has done a lot to increase the popularity of the motorhome, as has the increase in staycations. Ms Mills says she’s a lakes and mountains person, but that’s the magic of being able to go just wherever you want. No package holiday, no itinerary, just unadulterated freedom and fun.
It seems for once all the trends have worked together and we expect to hear a lot more celebrities coming forward to declare their love for the caravan holiday too!
