How long is this great weather going to last? It’s October, the leaves are still on the trees, and the sun is still shining. The weather may be about to break, but even if it does, with low season prices plummeting for caravan holidays it’s a good time to get away.

In the number one spot is Riviera Bay, Brixham, Devon where £69 will get you a three night break in a bronze 1 bedroom chalet which sleeps four people. So, if you fancy getting away with friends who don’t mind a bit of cosy sharing that’s about a fiver a night each! OK, so it’s not luxury, but, at that price… There’s an indoor heated pool, entertainment centre (redcoat heaven), and direct access to the lovely sandy beach at St. Mary’s Bay.
For a mere £5 more you can get a 2 bed chalet that sleeps six at nearby Landscove Holiday Park also in Brixham. For £74 for the same three nights you get 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom plus additional sleeping for 2 in the lounge. The holiday park also has an indoor swimming pool plus a club. Goodrington Sands is half a mile away, and Brixham itself is just a stroll.
