Kids back at school! Great, back to ‘normal life’, however, don’t forget that this term is one of the longest in the year. Depending on where you live the poor little cherubs have got about other 7 weeks in school before the next holiday.
That’s a long time for the little ones, so why not make it a bit more bearable for them with the promise of a holiday already booked for spring! Hoseasons have got a load of holidays from £149 for the spring break in both ‘family fun’ and ‘relax and explore’ locations, so all you need to do is decide which holiday you’re after and book before they all get snapped up.
There are literally hundreds of holidays on offer (full list here), but here’s a couple:
If you’re looking for something Scottish and family friendly Southerness, Dumfries scores a nice 8 out of 10 in reviews and while it’s surroundings look amazing, you may not feel the need to leave the park to enjoy them as it has plenty going on on-site. It has an indoor heated 25m pool with flume and toddlers pool as well as inflatable kayaks, floating frenzy and pool party sessions.
As noted, it is a family fun location, which means plenty to do for adults and kids, day and night. There’s kid’s clubs, plus live entertainment in the showbar. For the more active there is a sports activity program, although charges do apply. More info.
A lot further down south is Ruda in Croyde Bay, North Devon. Another family break, the park has the Cascades Tropical Adventure Pool with Big Blue pool slide, adventure playground and obstacle course, plus kid’s clubs and entertainment. Offsite there is horse riding, plus the beach is right on the doorstep.
Croyde Bay is ‘surf town’, with two surf shops, plus lessons available. And if that doesn’t tickle your fancy there is plenty to do in the area, including loads of beaches and plenty of opportunities for a stroll through some historical gardens, nature reserves and more. More info.
