This year the school half term falls for most areas on Monday the 29th May until Friday the 2nd of June, and yes folks, that’s just around the corner. And with the apparently inexorable rise of the staycation it’s time to ask are their any caravan holiday deals out there? Has demand so outstripped supply that the big firms don’t even need to give us special offers?
Well, the good news is that special deals are still available even for the highly sought after may half term peak period. So who is offering what? We’ve trawled the websites of our favourite holiday park operators to see what deals are available, and this is what we found:
Haven Holidays are offering up to 31% off some of their remaining accommodation for the May Half term break. Prices start at £304.00 for a 4 night break starting Monday the 29th May at Cala Gran Near Blackpool, Lancashire. The park has an indoor pool, children’s waterslide, steam room and outdoor splash zone. Plus, they have aqua gliders and jet skis, so there’s plenty to keep a family busy.
Other Haven special offers for the same period include the following:
Marton Mere, also Blackpool. 4 nights for £307.00, which again is 31% off.
Haggerston Castle Nr Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland. 4 nights for £314.00, another 31% off.
Craig Tara Ayrshire, Scotland. 4 nights for £316.00, which is 26% off.
Park Holidays have a wide selection of 3 and 4 night breaks available. The dates are variable, some starting on the preceding Friday, some on the Monday or Tuesday. Their best deal at the moment is 3 nights starting Tuesday 30th of May 2017 at Landscove in Devon for £117.00 which is one of the best prices we’ve ever seen for a half term midweek break.
Other Park Holidays special offers for the same period include the following:
St Osyth Beach, Essex. 3 nights starting Friday the 26th of May for £297, which is a saving of £33.00
Steeple Bay, Essex. 3 nights starting Friday the 26th of May for £265, which is a saving of £29.00
