About Blue Anchor Holiday Park
Sandwiched between the sea and Exmoor, Hoburne Blue Anchor is a ‘facility lite’ caravan park, with little on offer except some good accommodation in a wonderful part of Somerset. Not for everyone, this is however a great choice for those who really want to get away from it and would rather listen to the waves than compères and stand-up comedians.
For the children there are rock-pools galore, and for a great day out there are wild ponies and deer to see on Exmoor, as well as the West Somerset Steam Railway for a journey back in time. There is a small heated indoor pool on the park as well as an adventure playground and nature trail.
For a bit of a candyfloss, Minehead is a short drive away, but the local beaches are also great for a simple picnic or barbecue and a dip or a swim. The fishing is good in the area, so take your rod for some proper relaxation. Camping pods are available if you fancy getting a bit closer to nature, but, they have a futon, fridge and more mod cons, so you get the best of both worlds. A haven of peace and quiet for those seeking tranquillity.
