About Meadow Lakes Holiday Park
Meadow Lakes Holiday Park is situated in a phenomenal 56 acres of verdant countryside, incorporating it’s own lakes which are stocked for holiday-making anglers. But this is a holiday for the whole family as there are plenty of facilities onsite, and activities and sightseeing in the local area.
Accommodation ranges from caravans to lodges, with some sleeping up to 8 people, so this could be a good destination for a group of friends or a large family (all have free WiFi). The nearest beach (of which there are many) is 10 miles away, but, if you’re in season there’s a heated outdoor swimming pool.
Located in South Cornwall, the holiday park is ideally situated for day-trips to numerous visitor attractions, and of course the coastline and countryside. Numerous picturesque fishing villages are in the area, as well as the famed Lost gardens of Heligan among others.
Onsite there is plenty to keep the family busy including a 30 metre zip wire. There is table tennis, a skittle alley and more, but this park is designed for a peaceful relaxing holiday, not the full redcoat experience. It may be a good opportunity to get the kids interested in nature as there’s a pet’s corner (irresistible!) and of course acres and acres to wander around.
St Austell (a lovely town in itself) is located midway between Falmouth and Plymouth with Penzance and St. Ives being a bit of a drive further away. This resort is probably most suitable to those who like getting out an d about rather than having everything laid on.
