About Sandford Holiday Park, Holton Heath
Located near the bustling town of Poole, Sandford Holiday Park has a lot to offer holidaymakers. It has a great selection of amenities including heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a weather multi-sports court, so there’s no need to worry about the weather, as there is plenty to keep a busy family occupied.
With a full range of onsite catering establishments, bars and entertainment there’s not much reason to leave the park, unless you want to take the short walk to the Blue Flag beach, or see what else the area has to offer. In all a great getaway for a busy family, and its just a short drive to Bournemouth for a fun day out.

There’s plenty to do for the kids, including Crazy Caves indoor play area, and under 8’s pirate ship, but there is also a wildlife nature trail where you can sneak in a bit of education and get them used to enjoying the free natural beauty of nature. Kid’s and Teen’s clubs are onsite, plus fun filled evenings for all in the Limelite Club.
Located not too far from the New Forest there are plenty of attractions in the area. But you don’t really need to get your wallet out as the main attraction of the area is the stunning coastline which has many walks. The New Forest National Park is a must, it can be explored on foot, bicycle or horseback.
Historical sights include Dorchester and Corfe Castle, and for the more adventurous boat hire is available. A well located holiday park with plenty to do onsite.
Stayed in the ‘Swanage’ caravan with a double bedroom and ensuite shower room. It was well fitted out with everything we needed including central heating. Kitchen and living area a good size which proved comfortable with a sizeable patio area and seating outside.
Plenty to keep children of all ages occupied and the amenities were of a high standard. Indoor pool was good and had plenty of supervision. Staff were helpful and to hand with any queries we had had. The club house was had plenty to offer and the kids enjoyed going there. We felt comfortable letting them venture out on their own. Plenty to see and visit outside the the caravan site. We will definitely return again in the future.
