About Southerness Holiday Park
A mere 500 feet from the beach, Southerness Holiday Park is located in an area of natural beauty. Although there is plenty to do at the park, the option is always there for a nice long stroll along the stunning coastline.
The park has a whopping 25m indoor pool with giant flume, and a spa bath to chill out in. There’s also a toddler’s pool, plus water walkers for older kids, and pool party sessions! For kids there is also an adventure playground and soft play area, but why not keep them busy as nature intended with a stroll along the wildlife nature trail.
For families there are also kid’s clubs for children of all ages, which is an opportunity for a bit of peace and quiet, and no need to feel guilty, as the groups activities are created with education in mind, so you relax, and they learn while they play.
If it’s raining there is plenty to do, including a heated indoor swimming pool, and with plenty of nearby attractions, Southerness offers a good all round family holiday experience.
If you really do need to catch up on your email there is free WiFi in the Coast Bar & Kitchen, and once that is sorted it’s time to get back on holiday in the Sunset Showbar which has fun filled evenings of live family entertainment.
There are several attraction in the area, but the main one is free, the stunning rugged coastline. And Galloway National Park is a short drive away form some real forest exploration in one of Scotland’s most pristine environments.
If you are up for an early start there is even more to fill your day with including Galloway Wildlife Park which is great for the kids, and if you need to grab a few gifts the market town of Dumfries is just around the corner. A pristine location with plenty to do on and off-site.
