About Tydd St Giles Golf & Country Club
Tydd St Giles Golf & Country Club is located in a country estate in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Accommodation is both lodges and caravans, and, this is a well facilitated holiday park, but with not a beach in sight, this is a luxury getaway for lovers of England’s prisitine countryside. As the name suggests, this is a great place to swing your arm on the links, and unwind in the club house.
The park has it’s own Par 70 golf course with buggy and pull trolley hire, and changing room (if you take it seriously). Fishing is also available at the onsite lake which opens from dawn til dusk and is stocked with several species of coarse fish. But, if golf and fishing don’t tickle your fancy there is plenty else to do nearby. Horse-riding lessons are available at the back of the park at Eaudyke stables to the rear of the park.
The parks rural location means there is abundant wildlife including wild deer, foxes, woodpeckers and more that can be seen on the park’s own nature trail. The area is unique for its micro-climate which means that you are unlikely to need a brolly unless you decide to get into your car and head out of the area to do a bit of sight-seeing.
The park’s facilities include a leisure complex with indoor heated swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, steam room and fitness suite. After a bit of activity you can relax with ‘pamper packages’ before dining at restaurant. For those who simply can’t put their iPads down their are WiFi hotspots, but for everyone else there is quite simply the joy of exploring magnificent countryside with the option of home comforts and a few rounds or a bit of exploration. Relax and stay as busy as you want in this well located countryside getaway.
